Soccer Recap: Saegertown Takes a Loss

Saegertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eisenhower Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Eisenhower this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Austin Szympruch and Troy Reynolds scored both of Saegertown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Saegertown's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Eisenhower, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saegertown will square off against Greenville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eisenhower, they will face off against Erie at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
