Softball Recap: Bishop McNamara Mustangs vs. St. Mary's Ryken Knights

Bishop McNamara made up a huge gap compared to their last game against St. Mary's Ryken, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Bishop McNamara blew past St. Mary's Ryken 12-1 on Wednesday. With that win, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Koryn Otey was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season.
