Volleyball Recap: Canyon del Oro Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pueblo last Tuesday, Canyon del Oro came back down to earth. Canyon del Oro fell just short of the Agua Fria Owls by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Canyon del Oro has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. Agua Fria has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Canyon del Oro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 28th. As for Agua Fria, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Sahuaro on the 28th.
