With a playoff win on the line, New Smyrna Beach rose to the challenge on Thursday. They breezed by the Deltona Wolves to the tune of 78-30. The Barracudas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

New Smyrna Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Iniya Reddicks, who went 6 of 7 to rack up 13 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Reddicks is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Corrin Austell, who went 6 for 7 en route to 15 points along with seven assists and three steals.

Deltona lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kelsey Assent, who posted 11 points. Frantashia Williams was another key player, putting up eight points.

New Smyrna Beach is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Deltona, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

New Smyrna Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-48 victory against Gateway on the 8th. Deltona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
