Basketball Recap: Camryn Samples Key Part of a Team Effort in Bison Win

After losing to Wahama the last time they met, Buffalo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Buffalo Bison came out on top against the Wahama White Falcons by a score of 50-43 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bison.

Buffalo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camryn Samples, who went 6 of 8 en route to 13 points and four steals. What's more, Samples also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Alivia Luikart, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Wahama, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo will welcome Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wahama, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ravenswood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
