Flag Football Recap: Colony Takes Down West Anchorage in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Colony extended their postseason success on Saturday against West Anchorage. They strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Eagles back in September, they had to take a 42-22 loss.

Ella Richarson was her usual excellent self, picking up 123 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Colony was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Colony's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Neveah Crawford. She has been hot, having posted at least one sack the last five times she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Colony and bumps their season record up to 17-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.0 points over those games. As for West Anchorage, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

As of now, neither Colony nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
