Trinity Christian Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Circle Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will challenge the Centurions at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Altamonte Christian 27-2. The result was nothing new for Trinity Christian Academy, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Bryson Maples and Dominic Bafundo were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Maples struck out six batters over two innings while giving up just two earned runs but no hits. Meanwhile, Bafundo pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Trinity Christian Academy is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-14 otherwise. At bat, Maples scored a run while going 2-for-2, while Bafundo scored three runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Maples a new career-high in RBI (two).

Circle Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th. They put the hurt on Lake Mary Prep with a sharp 7-1 victory.
The team relied heavily on Jon Waldrop, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. Cayden Cook was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
The win (which was Trinity Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 12-14. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for Circle Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
Everything went Trinity Christian Academy's way against Circle Christian in their previous matchup back in March, as Trinity Christian Academy made off with a 19-5 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Centurions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
