Volleyball Recap: Monroe Area Comes Up Short

Monroe Area lost against Morgan County back in October of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Purple Hurricanes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Purple Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe Area's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Morgan County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Monroe Area will square off against Berkmar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morgan County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Athens Academy on the 19th.
