Football Game Preview: Southern Valley Eagles vs. Dundy County-Stratton Tigers

Southern Valley hasn't had much luck against Dundy County-Stratton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Tigers. Southern Valley has given up an average of 54.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-22, which was the final score in Southern Valley's tilt against St. Patrick's on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Irish are ranked 45th).

Meanwhile, Dundy County-Stratton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 62-14 win over Alma. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-6.

Dundy County-Stratton's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Southern Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
