Volleyball Game Preview: Holly Springs Golden Hawks vs. Cleveland Rams

Holly Springs is 0-3 against Cleveland since August of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Golden Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Holly Springs can't be too worried about heading out to take on Cleveland: they just beat Lumberton at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Golden Hawks came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Hawks.

Holly Springs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Cleveland got the win against Garner on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

Holly Springs' record is now 17-7. As for Cleveland, their record now sits at 21-4.
