Soccer Game Preview: East Duplin vs. First Flight

The East Duplin Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the First Flight Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as East Duplin comes in on four and First Flight on ten.

East Duplin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against North Johnston by a score of 6-4. That's two games straight that East Duplin has won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, First Flight kept a clean sheet against Central Davidson on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Spartans. First Flight might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Central Davidson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ella Rae Reese led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

First Flight's victory bumped their record up to 18-3-1. As for East Duplin, their win bumped their record up to 18-6-1.
