Morris had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Kaneland Knights. For Morris, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Kaneland walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Morris got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-21.

Rosemary Misener paced Morris' offense, picking up ten kills. Misener got some help from Alexis Williams and her 28 assists.

Morris' record now sits at 20-4. As for Kaneland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
