Basketball Recap: Redwood Christian Extends Winning Streak to 16

Redwood Christian came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 15 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the California Crosspoint Rams 91-44. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Redwood Christian to victory were David Rogers and Nehemiah Mitchell. Rogers dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds, while Mitchell went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points along with seven assists and five steals. Rogers' evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrone Snipes, who went 5-for-9 en route to 10 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Redwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for California Crosspoint, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Redwood Christian has already played their next contest, a 60-55 victory against Making Waves Academy on the 15th. California Crosspoint does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
