Volleyball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

Howard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Howard was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bridgewater/Emery's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-20.

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Howard will take on Freeman at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Menno at 7:15 p.m.
