Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. Shadyside Tigers
The Eastern Eagles will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Shadyside Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Eastern will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Eastern put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 43-7 victory over Green.
Landyn Reinsmith had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Jace White, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 41 points the game before, Shadyside were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. Their rough 35-12 loss to Monroe Central might stick with them for a while.
Eastern's win was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.6 points. As for Shadyside, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
