After a string of seven wins, Northwest's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adams Central Patriots. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 62-60.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adams Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Foster, who posted 15 points. Austin Vontz was another key player, putting up ten points.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Adams Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Northwest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hastings. As for Adams Central, they will venture away from home to take on St. Cecilia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adams Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.
