After losing to West Aurora the last time they met, Oswego East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolves walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blackhawks on Saturday. The game was the first time the Wolves have beaten the Blackhawks on their court since May 17, 2022.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 30-28.

Xander Horst paced Oswego East's offense, picking up 16 kills. Horst got some help from Nathan Thach and his 33 assists. Jacob Woods controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oswego East's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for West Aurora, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
