Baseball Recap: Penns Grove Takes a Loss

Penns Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Schalick Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Penns Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Schalick, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

While Penns Grove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
