Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Port Huron Northern's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Port Huron Northern proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Bishop Foley Ventures 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since September 25th.

Bishop Foley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Rosie Lass, who had six digs and three aces, and Abbey Jones, who had nine assists and three digs.

Port Huron Northern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9-1 record this season. As for Bishop Foley, they now have a losing record of 12-13-1.

Looking ahead, Port Huron Northern will venture away from home to take on Lakeview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Foley, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Deckerville at 1:30 p.m.
