Volleyball Recap: Big Walnut Golden Eagles vs. Teays Valley Vikings
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Big Walnut had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Teays Valley Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Big Walnut was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-11.
Peyton Gordon was nothing short of spectacular: she had 13 digs and three aces.
