Baseball Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sheridan Hills Christian last Tuesday, Palm Beach Lakes came back down to earth. The Palm Beach Lakes Rams fell 8-4 to the Lake Worth Christian Defenders on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Defenders: they've now lost three in a row.

Anderson Demeus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Palm Beach Lakes fell to 2-1. As for Lake Worth Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Lakes will host Pahokee at 6:00 p.m. on February 27th. As for Lake Worth Christian, they will welcome Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Worth Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2 runs per game this season.
