Franklin is 9-1 against Socorro since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cougars will welcome the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Franklin is coming into the match hot, having won their last 11 games.

Franklin gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Eastwood. Given Franklin's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Eastwood are ranked 476th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Socorro was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Eastlake. Socorro haven't had much luck with Eastlake recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1. As for Socorro, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1.

Franklin beat Socorro 2-0 when the teams last played on February 3rd. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
