Preview: Glasgow Dragons vs. Dickinson Rams
The Glasgow Dragons will head out on the road to challenge the Dickinson Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Glasgow came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They escaped with a win against Seaford by the margin of a single free throw, 69-68.
Jahsir Robertson was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jasai Harris, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Dickinson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They snuck past Christiana with a 68-64 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dickinson.
Glasgow's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Dickinson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Glasgow strolled past Dickinson in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 52-35. Will Glasgow repeat their success, or does Dickinson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
