Baseball Recap: Macarthur Beats Trinity for Their Third Straight Victory

MacArthur had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Trinity Trojans.

MacArthur's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ian Martinez, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI. Adrian Cruz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Trinity, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1-1.

Coincidentally, MacArthur and Trinity will both be playing Grand Prairie the next time they take the field. MacArthur will head out to face Grand Prairie at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while Trinity will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
