Junction waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-38 W against the Miles Bulldogs. The team ran away with 33 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Junction's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Miles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Junction will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ferris at 5:20 p.m. on the 29th. Miles and Hermleigh will round out the year against one another at 10:30 a.m. on the 29th.
