Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakota East). They claimed a resounding 72-39 win over the Middletown Middies. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-19.
Lakota East's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Sturgill, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds. Aubrey Barnedo also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
