Softball Recap: Fayette County Falls to Berry in First Game of Season

Fayette County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Berry Wildcats by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 12-11 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berry, they will be taking part in a tournament against Dora at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
