Softball Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

Westlake lost against Lake Travis back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chaparrals fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 3-2. The Chaparrals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westlake now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Lake Travis, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westlake is set to face off against their familiar foe Del Valle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Travis will square off against rival Akins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
