Softball Recap: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. Kalida Wildcats
The Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets made easy work of the Kalida Wildcats on Thursday and carried off a 15-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Hornets.
Katelyn Duffman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off 12 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
