Baseball Recap: Reynolds Takes a Loss

Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Wilmington Greyhounds. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brady Nehlen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wilmington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Reynolds will take on West Middlesex at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Big Reds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wilmington, they will square off against Greenville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
