Baseball Recap: Kuna Kavemen vs. Timberline Wolves

Kuna took a 13-run loss the last time they faced off against Timberline, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Kavemen came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolves on Friday, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Kavemen have posted since April 16, 2024.

Kuna got a great performance from Zane Hoagland as he struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. Those six strikeouts gave Hoagland a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Tyler Rasmussen was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Max Sperry was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
