Manville hadn't done well against North Plainfield recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Manville Mustangs escaped with a win against the North Plainfield Canucks by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41. The Mustangs' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Manville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Plainfield, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
