On Tuesday, Viera faced Melbourne in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Viera Hawks had just enough and edged the Melbourne Bulldogs out 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Eva McMenemy-Hoang and Peyton Attleson scored both of Viera's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Viera pushed their record up to 7-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Melbourne, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-1.

Viera will square off against East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Viera is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Melbourne, they will head out to take on Space Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
