Basketball Game Preview: Woodlake Tigers vs. Granite Hills Grizzlies

Woodlake hasn't had much luck against Granite Hills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Woodlake Tigers will take on the Granite Hills Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m.

Woodlake is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Corcoran, falling 87-31. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1299th, while the Panthers are ranked 342nd).

Meanwhile, Granite Hills didn't have too much trouble with Strathmore on Friday as they won 47-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Granite Hills has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Woodlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Woodlake was taken down by Granite Hills 67-27 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Woodlake avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
