Basketball Recap: South Hamilton Comes Up Short

South Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Saydel Eagles, falling 65-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-26 back in December of 2024.

South Hamilton's record is now 0-16. As for Saydel, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

South Hamilton will head out to take on Grand View Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grand View Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully South Hamilton likes a good challenge. Saydel has already played their next contest (against West Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
