Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Ridgeview Panthers
The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Ridgeview at home and fell 57-14. Trinity Christian Academy has not had much luck with Ridgeview recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Ridgeview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nacoya Blocton, who scored 12 points along with seven steals. Blocton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Narissa Blocton was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Trinity Christian Academy's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.1 points per game. As for Ridgeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will take on Bishop Snyder at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridgeview, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against ED White at 7:00 p.m. ED White is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
