Soccer Game Preview: John F. Kennedy vs. San Antonio Memorial

The John F. Kennedy Rockets will take on the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. John F. Kennedy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for John F. Kennedy's offense. They lost 8-0 to La Vernia on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Bears are ranked 71st).

Meanwhile, San Antonio Memorial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Young Women's Leadership Academy on Tuesday.

San Antonio Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for John F. Kennedy, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.

Everything went John F. Kennedy's way against San Antonio Memorial when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as John F. Kennedy made off with a 5-0 win. Does John F.
