Volleyball Game Preview: Riverdale Ridge Ravens vs. Legacy Lightning

Last Thursday, Riverdale Ridge earned a 3-1 victory over Centaurus.

Riverdale Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.

Riverdale Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joseph Lee led the charge by getting 16 digs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Boulder on Thursday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Legacy was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-12.

Riverdale Ridge's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Legacy, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
