Soccer Game Preview: Peak to Peak vs. Jefferson Academy

Peak to Peak is 1-9 against Jefferson Academy since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Pumas will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Peak to Peak is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Regis Groff.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Academy kept a clean sheet against Arrupe Jesuit on Thursday. They blew past the Generals 10-0. Considering Jefferson Academy have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jefferson Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 62 goals over those ten matchups. As for Peak to Peak, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6-2.
