Basketball Recap: Lewisville Wins Going Away Against Lamar

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against C.A. Johnson, Lewisville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lamar Silver Foxes as the Lewisville Lions made off with a 44-18 win. That looming 44-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Lewisville moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Lamar, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewisville will venture away from home to face off against Lee Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee Central's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Lewisville's offense will have their work cut out for them. Lamar has already played their next match (against Governor's School for Science & Math), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
