Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Kam Welch stepped things up a notch to give Oak Ridge the 'W'. Welch turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Welch's effort led Oak Ridge over Powell and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
