Soccer Game Preview: Benjamin vs. Oxbridge Academy

The Benjamin Buccaneers will take on the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Benjamin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Benjamin fell victim to West Boca Raton and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bulls by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Benjamin have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Oxbridge Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Saint Andrew's get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. Oxbridge Academy wouldn't have won without Siena Huey, who scored the game-winner.

Benjamin's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Oxbridge Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-2.

Benjamin skirted past Oxbridge Academy 1-0 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Buccaneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the ThunderWolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
