            Baseball Recap: Kings Mountain Mountaineers vs. South Point Red Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Kings Mountain started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against South Point. They fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of  12-11 on Monday. The Mountaineers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Raiders earlier this season, when they won  3-2.

  Carter Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  run. He has become a key player for Kings Mountain: the team is 4-1 when he posts  at  least  two  stolen bases, but 5-10 otherwise.
