Basketball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

If Triton was feeling good fresh off their 83-63 takedown of Kenyon-Wanamingo on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Triton Cobras fell 64-57 to the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Cobras in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.
