Baseball Recap: Mark Morris Takes a Loss

Mark Morris came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ridgefield Spudders, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Monarchs in their meetings with the Spudders: they've now lost three in a row.

Mark Morris' loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Ridgefield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

While Mark Morris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
