Basketball Recap: Carnegie Beats Blair for Their Second Straight Victory

If Blair wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Carnegie, they should've done a better job of containing Karlee Tohkofper. The Carnegie Wildcats took down the Blair Broncos 49-31 on Monday thanks to Tohkofper, who posted 23 points along with six boards and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carnegie's points.

Kyleigh Bearbow was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Carnegie and bumps their season record up to 11-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Blair, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

As of now, neither Carnegie nor Blair have any future games scheduled.
