Soccer Recap: Lawndale Gets the Win

Roosevelt kept up with Lawndale until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Cardinals never let the Rough Riders get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. This was payback for Lawndale, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lawndale's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Roosevelt, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Lawndale will face off against Animo Leadership at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will take on El Segundo at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
