In other pitching news, Braydon Dalton looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Brody Combs, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
