Volleyball Recap: Ramsey Comes Up Short

Ramsey lost against Mulberry Grove last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Aces by a score of 2-1.

Summer Sampson paced Ramsey's offense, picking up six kills. Sampson got some help from Mia Waggoner and her seven assists. Waggoner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ramsey's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Mulberry Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Ramsey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Neoga on the 30th. As for Mulberry Grove, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sandoval on the 29th.
