Basketball Game Preview: North Creek Jaguars vs. Sammamish RedHawks

The North Creek Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Sammamish RedHawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.

North Creek will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Woodinville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. North Creek walked away with a 55-46 win over Woodinville on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sammamish suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2024 on Saturday. They took a blow against Redmond, falling 74-44. While losing is never fun, the RedHawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Mustangs are ranked 34th).

North Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Sammamish, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

North Creek and Sammamish were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but North Creek came up empty-handed after a 64-63 defeat. Can North Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
